Coat an old table with personal photos or your favorite cutouts from magazines to create a tabletop collage. Add party invitations, funky cards and postcards to spice up the design.
Decoupage
Paint a layer of mod-podge glue onto the tabletop. Before the glue dries arrange your photos on top of the glue. When the bottom layer has dried paint a few coats of the mod-podge over the collage, waiting for each coat to dry before painting the next. If your tabletop is uneven, sand it smooth before starting your project.
Mosaics
Make your own mosaic photo table by fitting together bits of photos by color to create a shape. For example, group yellow portions of photos to make a sun and orange groups of photos to make the rays. Even simple shapes like a sun or star will look great as a mosaic.
Tips
Before layering the photos on top of the mod-podge glue, arrange them first on the dry table. That will help you figure out exactly how you want them displayed and how many photos you'll need altogether.
