Valentine Table Decoration Crafts

Valentine Table Decoration Crafts

Whether you are hosting a party to celebrate Valentine's Day or just want to bring some romance into your home, decorating your tabletop for the holiday is a festive way to showcase the spirit of love. Making your own table decorations for Valentine's Day is very easy and inexpensive to do and will infuse your creativity and personality into your home.

Foam Heart Table Garland

A foam heart table garland can be hung along the edges of your table, and is a very easy craft to create. Trace several dozen hearts onto pink, white and red craft foam and cut them out using scissors or a precision knife. Use a hole punch to create two holes in the center of each heart. Loop yarn or ribbon through the holes to string each heart onto the garland, and tape the ends of the garland onto the table edge.

Craft Foam Placemats

These festive placemats are easy to make and will add color and brightness to your table. Use a sheet of red craft foam for the base of the placemat. Trace and cut out pink and white foam hearts and glue them onto the red foam. Decorate each placemat with glitter, puff paint or stickers.

Heart Candle Centerpiece

This Valentine's table craft utilizes plain white pillar candles to create a one-of-a-kind centerpiece. Use a heart shaped hole punch to punch out a variety of hearts from a sheet of red wax. Heat a pillar candle up with a blow dryer, and stick the heart punch outs to the candle. Three of these candles can be arranged as a centerpiece along with some red confetti or rose petals.
