The key to selling almost anything is presentation. At a craft show, this is doubly important because you need your booth to stand out from the rest. The presentation of your handiwork begins with the appearance of your booth, and the appearance of your booth begins with your table coverings.
You can go out and buy table coverings, but they can be expensive and are not guaranteed to be exactly the right size or shape. By making them yourself you can control every aspect of your table coverings and make your booth stand out from the rest.

Preparation
- 1
Measure the top of your table in each direction and from the top of the table to the floor.
2Determine the amount of fabric you will need. To do this, add twice the height to both the length and width of the table and add 1 1/2 inches to your width measurement and 1 inch to your length measurement. This will be the length and width of your unfinished table covering.
You will need two times your length of 65-inch wide fabric to cover a table up to 3 1/2 feet wide.
3Iron your fabric to remove all wrinkles and creases.
4Fold your fabric in half and cut along the fold to create two pieces of fabric cut to the length of your table covering plus 1 inch.
5Place your two lengths of fabric together, right side together and pin along the raw edge.
6Stitch along the pinned edge of the fabric, 1/2 inch from the raw edge of the fabric using a straight stitch. Remove your pins as you work.
7Keeping your fabric right side together, measure your new piece of fabric and trim the width to 1/2 of your width measurement.
8Fold and pin 1/2-inch hems along each edge of the fabric.
9Unfold your fabric and press your seam flat and press your hems.
10Using a straight stitch, stitch along the raw edge of each hem, 1/4 inch from the folded edge.
11Trim any excess fabric from the corners and press your finished table covering.
